Vera Lin

Founder and President

My name is Vera Lin and I am the founder of Music Connect. I played the piano for nine years, but my primary instrument is the violin. I started playing in the second grade, and since then I got the chance to play in the Sting Repertory Orchestra, Junior Repertory Orchestra, Youth Repertory Orchestra, and Youth Symphony at NEC, and the MMEA Eastern Junior Districts Orchestra. Additionally, I was invited to play at Carnegie Hall in New York City. In my free time, I like to read, fence, and do Taekwondo.

    Hi, my name is Nora Sheu. I am a sophomore at Brookline High School and have been playing piano for 10 years. I played at New England Conservatory, and I was my school concert choir pianist. In my free time I enjoy playing soccer and hanging out with friends.

    Hi, my name is Konoka Minegishi and I am currently a high school sophomore. I have been playing the violin for 6 years. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, drawing, and playing simple songs on the ukulele.

    Hi! I'm Lily, a 16-year-old from Japan with a passion for guitar. I started playing when I was nine, and it's been a fun and self-driven journey ever since. I've enjoyed the freedom to learn at my own pace, which has really deepened my love for the instrument. I aim to play an hour of guitar every day. A few months back, I started a YouTube channel to share my solo covers, focusing on fingerstyle. Though my teaching background is in English for Japanese students, I've gained over a year of valuable mentoring experience. Outside of music, I also love tennis and getting creative with oil painting.

    My name Haley Kim and I’m a junior at Brookline High School. I have been playing the flute for 8 years and have ten years of piano experience as well. Outside of music I am a rhythmic gymnast and love attempting to bake.
