Student Registration

Before signing up please read the following requirements below. Thank you!

Requirements:

  • You must be at least 7 years old

  • You must have an instrument that you want to pursue or continue to pursue

  • You must have some access to the instrument for your lessons

  • You must have 1 hour on a weekday or weekend free for lessons

Getting Started:

  • After you sign up, we will pair you with a teacher we feel that you will work best with. You also may be put on our waitlist if we do not think we have a good match for you, or we have an imbalance of students to teachers

  • If you do get put on the waitlist, we will let you know five days after we have received your application

  • When we pair you with a teacher, we will send you their name, Bio, grade, and school

  • After we have paired you with your mentor you may communicate directly to them via email or text

  • For lessons, you and your mentor can decide to use Zoom, Facetime, Google meet, etc

  • After 2 weeks, an evaluation form will be sent out to ensure that your lessons are going well, and after that, you will be sent a monthly form

Duties:

  • Please try to quickly respond to your mentor’s emails or text messages

  • If you wish to cancel your lesson for any reason, please tell your mentor 2 days prior to the lesson.

  • If you wish to discontinue for any reason, please tell us under the “About” page you can go to “Contact” and contact us so that we can message your mentor

Things to Keep In Mind:

  • Please keep in mind that we do not provide instruments for lessons, and you must have the instrument that you want to learn accessible at the time of your lessons

  • Please keep in mind that we might not offer the instrument that you wish to pursue due to a limited amount of teachers who apply, but we will try our best to help you accomplish your musical goals
